Banana Bread 2.0
Pumped, loaded, and delicious! Topped it with shaved coconut, walnuts, and chocolate chips.
I made the Banana bread recipe many years ago, in 2018 to be precise, for a local baking brand using their products. We shot it then in the trendy style of the mid 2010; square videos, top view, less than a minute, and a quick edit.
I made the recipe many times after it and each time I change something in it. Sometimes I add more chocolate, more and different nuts, and sometimes I get naughty and add brandy or bourbon in the mix. Hence the Banana Bread 2.0.
I took these photos in 2020 when everyone and their mother made sourdough bread and banana bread. And I was no exception. I made the recipe again in 2021 when I moved to live on my own and I had a tablecloth laid out on my dining table. I had the space to do so and have some flowers and plants. Or leaves that I pick up on my walks around Achrafieh. I always picked fig leaves or wild flowers and left them until they’re dried up.
I made this bread recently as well with leftover bananas that went from bright yellow to spotted brown then to completely brown. Each time, the bread got more glammed up, like a Christmas tree you keep adding ornaments to.
This is the recipe I follow.
Make it your own.

So delicious hisham!
